Installation of Toy Hauler Screen
Screens are easy to install and should take less than 10 minutes.
Before mounting fastening tape you should hold your screen over the area where you are going to mount the screen so you will know where to attach the hook fastening tape.
We supply you with a roll of self-adhesive hook fastener (also called rip and grip) 20-25 feet enough to go all the way across the top and down both sides of your door opening. You need to make sure the area is clean. You stick the hook fastener tape on your door frame and press and apply pressure to make sure it is adhering. Let hook season overnight then you just attach your screen to the hook.
Your screen will have the loop sewn all the way across the top and own both sides. We recommend adhering hook when weather is warmer than 65 degrees.
Hook-and-loop fasteners, hook-and-pile fasteners or touch fasteners, commonly known as “velcro”, consist of two components: typically, two lineal fabric strips (or, alternatively, round “dots” or squares) which are attached (sewn or otherwise adhered) to the opposing surfaces to be fastened.
We also make garage door screens that attach the same way. View the video below to see the installation of garage screen which is the same installation procedure to use when mounting the screen on trailers or porches.
